FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Devon, Pennsylvania)– According to reports from The National Association of State Boards on Accountancy, more than 136,000 candidates took the CPA exam for the first time in 2014, the most recent year for which information has been made available to the public, with 55 percent achieving passing scores. At the same time, just over 98,000 made repeat attempts, generating an overall passing rate of 41.9 percent. In light of these figures, Surgent CPA Review recently launched the company’s course referral program.
“We’re proud to extend our Surgent CPA Review Ambassador program to anyone who knows someone planning to take the CPA exam,” said Liz Kolar, CPA, CGMA, course instructor and Surgent CPA Review course co-founder. “For every candidate who registers for our complete four-part course through a referral, ambassadors will receive $100. We’re not placing any caps on this offer, so our ambassadors are looking at unlimited potential. Our course covers everything candidates need to know to pass the exam on their first try. We’ve helped thousands of students pass the exam, while actually studying less! Our unique “adaptive learning” technology proactively focuses on more on what students don’t know, and less on what they do know, resulting in a more efficient, effective study plan.”
Surgent’s CPA exam review course provides current information and literature on each of the four parts of the exam, including Financial Accounting and Reporting (FAR), Auditing and Attestation (AUD), Regulation (REG), and Business Environment and Concepts (BEC). The course features more than 6,840 multiple-choice questions along with 295 task-based simulations. Lectures and accompanying customized study notes are also provided.
Those interested in Surgent CPA Review can participate in a complimentary interactive course demo via the company website or request a free three-day trial. The company offers a monthly payment plan for enrollees with discount codes available to those who attend the course demonstration. Individual courses are available in addition to the complete four-part option. A number of additional resources are offered to students taking part in Surgent CPA Review courses.
